"In 2026, at Milan Design Week, JIFANG made its debut at the Porta Nuova ancient city gate exhibition area under the brand philosophy of 'Finding Peace in Wood.' The brand presented the Fu Armchair, the Doppel Armchair, and naturally air-dried raw wood works. Rooted in traditional mortise-and-tenjoinery while integrating a contemporary design language, JIFANG fosters a dialogue between the warm texture of raw wood and modern aesthetics. Sharing a similar understanding and philosophy of design, Jifang also participated as an investor in the exhibition platform 'SQUARE Design Square,' and together with the platform, told the story of JIFANG and design on this international stage. With a humble attitude, JIFANG engaged in dialogue with the world."
"In 2026, JIFANG collaborated with insdim to complete the VIP Lounge, which officially debuted at the H+ Art Museum in Suzhou, designed by the architect Tadao Ando. The warm solid wood material blends with the cool exposed concrete, while the switchback circulation space echoes the essence of Eastern garden aesthetics, creating a calm yet vibrant spatial atmosphere. This is also the first project within Tadao Ando’s architectural portfolio to permit a long-term presence by an external brand."
"In 2025, we transformed static furniture into vehicles of dynamic narrative. 'Fu Armchair and Its Six Owners' did not stop at presenting the Fu Armchair series products themselves; instead, it placed the real experiences and insights of the Fu Armchair’s users at the core of the exhibition. In collaboration with 'Island Island,' we created improvisational theater using the Fu Armchair as a medium, intertwining the traces of design and life with the stories of chairs and their owners, sparking widespread emotional resonance and public discussion."
"In 2024, at the Liangrenshi Art Festival in Xitang Ancient Town, JIFANG collaborated with artist Tian Xiong to present the exhibition 'North Crossing' in a waterside space. The warm, substantial texture of century-old raw wood intertwined with the flowing waters of the thousand-year-old water town, creating a light and graceful dialogue with the delicate spirit of Jiangnan."
